My Story by Kim Steenkamp

Ever since I can remember I have loved scents. As a little girl I would sneak into my mother's cupboard and spray on her Joy perfume and any other perfume I could get my hands on. Enveloping myself in beautiful scents transports me to another world, another place, of infinite elegance and beauty. I feel free, energized, empowered and inspired just thinking about perfumes and scents. Nothing brings me greater joy than calling upon my imagination to conjure up a stunning, unique perfume.

It was my dream to study French and perfumery, however life is such that I ended up studying Italian and working, amongst many other jobs, for my family business in South Africa.

I left South Africa when I was 50 years old and decided to start a new life for myself here in beautiful Portugal. I took a few perfume-making courses during COVID and was in heaven. I started selling my creations to friends, and they encouraged me to start selling to others. So here I am, launching my perfume business online here in Portugal. It is my desire that my scents uplift you, inspire you, and make you feel beautiful, feminine, and unique — because you are!

Lucky to have found KAS Fragrances. My favorites are the Coffee Vanilla & Tobacco room diffuser and one of their beautiful perfumes. The diffusers come in elegant glass holders, and the unique fragrances last a long time. I’ve given these as birthday and housewarming gifts. I personally love how the perfumes last beautifully on my skin without being overpowering and feel gentle to wear. Highly recommend trying KAS Fragrances for your home and personal use.
